It's Birthday Painting Release Day! 🎉

Hi friends!

I have a birthday tradition that I've been keeping for years now.

Every August 17th, I do a little something special in my shop to celebrate another trip around the sun, and to help support my little family along the way.

But this year, I decided to make it extra special.

For the past seven months, I've been painting:
100 tiny, completely original paintings.

And today, on my birthday, they're finally finished + ready to send out into the world, and they're officially available in my shop! 🎉

🎨 The 100 Minis are HERE!

You can see a few of my favorites above. :)

Each painting is 6x6", painted by hand on a cradled wood panel.
And every single one is one-of-a-kind.

When one is gone, it's gone.

I've loved making these little paintings so much and watching the collection grow on my wall, one by one. They're small enough to tuck into a little corner of your home – but they're still real, original artwork made with love and my two hands.

I've spent the better part of this year making these tiny, colorful worlds, one after another, without knowing what any of them would look like when I started out or exactly who they would eventually belong to.

Maybe one will end up above your desk.
Maybe in a little gallery wall.
Maybe on a shelf or a mantle.
Maybe you'll give one to someone you love.

Or maybe you'll keep one somewhere just for yourself, as a tiny daily reminder to make room for color and joy.

And now I get to send them out into the world.

This is the best part (and also sometimes the hardest, especially when you have a 10 year old who thinks you should definitely just keep them all! 🤣).

I've been staring at these little paintings on my wall for months, and it's kind of surreal to finally open the doors and say:

They're yours if you want one!

I get a little emotional every year when I do this kind of thing on my birthday.

Because it's not lost on me that every time you buy something from my shop, you're not just buying a piece of art.

You're supporting an independent artist.

You're helping me keep making things.

You're helping me take care of my little family and to continue building this strange, wonderful creative life I've been lucky enough to make.

And I don't take that for granted.

So if you've ever wanted to own an original piece of my artwork, this is a really fun opportunity.

They're small.
They're colorful.
They're completely unique.

And there are only 100. (Only. Haha. I made 100 of these, which was no small feat, let's be real!)

Some may already be finding their new homes as you read this, and once a painting is sold, that particular little piece of the collection won't be available again.

Come take a peek and see if one is meant to come home with you. 💕

THANK YOU for being here. And thank you, as always, for helping to make it possible for me to keep doing what I love.

I'm so excited to see which little paintings find their way to you!!

Happy birthday to me – and maybe a little birthday present to you, too. 🥰 (Even if your birthday isn't anywhere close to right now!)

ps – If you see one you love, don't wait too long! There are 100 paintings, but there's only one of each. Once someone else falls in love with it, it's gone. ✨ Shop the birthday paintings here!
